Which Came First
I've been wanting to paint this pitcher for a while. I'm sure I'll paint it again, because I find it so delightful, but I can't imagine a setup I will like better than this one. This is one of my gallery works (12 x 16).
This is my first visit to your site...and what a zinger...I love this painting...but the title "It's tremendous"...thanks for the eye candy and a serious chuckle...
Thanks for all the compliments. Ashley, I don't use liquin. I mix my own medium. It's the same one Carol Marine uses and I like it a lot. It not only improves the flow, it adds a slight gloss and keeps the colors fresh. the mix is: 2 parts linseed oil, 1 part stand oil, and 1 part Gamsol.

Yes, it is a great pitcher for painting--and I love the clever title!

"Precisely loose" - I'd say you nailed it. This little guy made my day, thank you!

I love all of your paintings... Do you use liquin with your paint?
Thanks for all the compliments.
