Gardenia...the Colors of White

I managed to squeeze in a painting today while my computer was busy working for me. Since my last posting, I've been very busy with my "day job", but I've been thinking about the color of white. All the time I was painting this my mantra was "white light contains all the colors". I continue to look for the colors in the shadows.
I'll be pretty busy next week, too, but I think I'll be able to post a couple of times. After that I should be able to get back into real daily painting. (I certainly hope so.) It's been difficult juggling home, husband, family, friends, church, work and painting. Sometimes one or another gets short shrift. Lately it's been painting, and I miss it.

Carolyn, the way you arrange things is so very pleasing, your compositions win me over again and again!
