After wiping for a while yesterday, today I decided to paint something familiar. The title may need a bit of explaining for those of you who have not been reading my blog regularly. Just check out all the paintings with cup, spoon and grape. And the answer to the question? Under the tomato.

I knew that the grape was under the tomato before I read that! Great job Carolyn!!
p.s. the grape is saying "I'm smothering here!".
Hoping the grape escapes for the next painting. Very nice, Carolyn.
Nice painting. Really like the values on the tomato.
But my favorite is the spoon. I love the highlights and reflections on the spoon, especially the bit of green in its bowl.
Hide-n-seek.... love it Carolyn!
Great series with the grape.
So witty! This is such a great series. Terrific job on that juicy tomato!
Haha - I love that. The whole series has been fun to watch. Your loose brushwork is jealousy inducing!
heh heh! hmmm . . . did make the grape easier to paint - gonna hafta try that . . .
the reflections of the background on the cup, spoon, & tomato are lovely - just right & tie it all together! thank you!
Just delightful! Great Grape Twist
Carolyn...another great piece. I imagine the grape is saying "this is no way to get over my claustrophobic issue!"
