I think it's a fun "surprise" that you would expect the tomato to be the focal point, but because it's surrounded by strong color and because the dark and light on the fork make an abrupt transition, that becomes the focal point! Don't know if you intended that, but it makes for a much more interesting painting (in my humble opinion)
