Work hasn't really heated up yet. But that just means when it hits, it will be like a ton of bricks. Not that that's anything new. I should be use to it by now. In the meantime, here's another one of my tomato paintings. I love painting tomatoes, they're so ... red.

Really have been enjoying the contrast with the stripes versus the round plate. And your use of contrasting colors add so much strength Carolyn.

great composition - and that fork! just right! (your work sound pretty demanding, if interesting!) thank you!

I love your compisitions, esp. wth the striped tablecloth. Susan is right that the round v stripe works very well. Beautifully executed as well, there's a real solidity to the tomatoes.

Yes, tomatoes are so red, but so pretty and yummy. Love your use of yellow... even a tint hit of it in the stripes, very nice.

It's fun to view your work again. I visited the gallery in Covington (great town)this year and got to see your work in person. Nice work!

Love the vibrancy of the colors and the thickness of the paint in this piece, Carolyn. Really beautiful.

I love the reds in the tomatoes with the yellow plate and the stripe fabric. Wonderful painting.

Awesome job on the fork. Also great composition. It would have been so easy to accidentally align the angles of the fork, tomatoes and/or onions, but you avoided that . I also love that the onions and plate read as one interesting shape.
