Hazel, custom pet portrait

Every so often, I do a painting that I think is special. This painting of Hazel, a Bengal cat, is one of those. I try and figure out what makes it special and how I did it ... it's a mystery to me. But that magic moment when it all comes together is fabulous!

I've been pretty busy with my custom work. I haven't posted all of them. Some people have asked me not to, they worry the recipient might see it and spoil the Christmas surprise.

Hazel is beautiful! I agree that there is just a little something extra in this one too:) Love that! Gorgeous eyes!

Love your 'loose' style of painting.

You have portrayed some beautiful cats and dogs here but I think Hazel is special - she looks very 'girlie' and sweet :-)
